Thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) designed for optimal performance in measuring the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) in materials. This rugged and easy-to-use design uses both electronics and a unique Archimedean float system to control the probe, allowing accurate determination of CTE and of transitions.
